Preschool religious education classes are held on Sundays (9:15 - 10:30 AM). Religious education classes for children in Kindergarten through 8th grade are offered on Wednesday evenings (4:30 - 5:50 PM or 6:30 - 7:50 PM) and meet in the school.

Registration Dates

Please call our office for registration dates.

Items you will need to bring:

  • You will need to bring a registration fee of $40.
  • A retreat fee of $15 for every student in grades Prep II through 12th grades.
  • A Baptismal Certificate for students entering Prep I (1st grade) and/or Level II Confirmation Prep (10th grade).

Sacrament Preparation

Reconciliation/Penance

This sacrament celebrates God’s forgiveness and peace. Children learn to take ownership of their decisions in order to make loving choices in the future. Penance, a prayer and action, is then given to enable them to make peace within themselves, their families, and their world.

Delayed Sacraments Program

Catholic Baptism is a requirement for the Celebration of First Reconciliation and First Communion. Any student who has not been Baptized or has been Baptized in another faith needs special preparation in addition to the Religious Education program. The Sacrament of First Eucharist takes place usually in the second grade here at SS. Peter & Paul Church. Any child in Grade 3 who has not been in our Prep l class or any child in Grades 4-10 who has not received their First Communion needs special preparation in addition to the Religious Education Program. Please contact the Director of Religious Education for more information.

The last class for Sunday morning is April 17th.

Religious Education Commission

The PreK-6 Commission meets the first Thursday of the month September through May. This group decides and implements policy, goals, budget and program development.
