The Cary-Grove Food Pantry would like to thank Saints Peter and Paul parishioners for their stewardship. Our church community has been donating food items and money on a regular basis for over 20 years. Saints Peter and Paul congregation truly demonstrates faith in action.
The Pantry is located in the parking lot of St. Barnabas Church at 8901 Cary-Algonquin Road, south of the White Hen. It is open to clients on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-6 PM and on the first and third Saturdays from 8:30-10:30 AM. A machine message can be placed at the Pantry by calling 1-847-516-3602.
Non-perishable donations can be dropped off in the bin in our Church lobby or at the pantry during open hours. In order for the volunteers to be prepared for substantial donations, please call ahead if you are planning a food drive. A special time for delivery will be scheduled.
When delivering large donations, it is helpful if the items are sorted and in small-medium sized boxes or bags. Categories are cans/jars/bottles, boxed goods/packages, and
non-food items such as paper goods, bath and cleaning supplies.
If you are interested in being trained as a volunteer, please call the Pantry at 847-516-3602 or visit their website at http://www.cgfoodpantry.org.
Thank you for your care and generosity.
