Welcome Ministry

This ministry extends an open hand to new members and attempts to make each person feel a part of the SS. Peter & Paul Community.

We also seek to inform and invite parishioners to stewardship with a packet of parish information and spiritual helps.

New parishioners are welcome to to call the office  (847/516-2636).  We would love to meet you in person.  Please ask for Rosie, our Pastoal Associate to arrange a time to meet.

Evangelization Commission

We are called to "go and make disciples teaching all nations in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit." What this means is simply passing on the Good News of Jesus Christ. The Evangelization Commission determines ways in which we as parish members and as a whole parish can make a difference in our world. The Evangelization Commission oversees Welcome Sunday, new parishioner registration, hospitality, Weekend Coffees after all the Masses and inter-faith outreach efforts. The Evangelization Commission has sponsored such programs as "Why Catholic?" and "Catholics Come Home".

For additional information please call Rosie at the Parish Office: (847) 516-AMEN (2636).

Justice & Peace Committee

The mission of the SS. Peter & Paul Justice and Peace Board is to identify and communicate to the parish, local, regional and world-wide issues of social justice.

For additional information please call the Parish Office: (847) 516-AMEN (2636).

Christ Renews His Parish

This is a weekend experience to which both men and women are invited. The weekend provides an excellent opportunity to get away from home, work and other pressures in order to allow you to get in touch with your faith and your God. It is a chance to meet with and listen to the experiences of other men and women of the Parish.

The entire weekend is informal and meals, refreshments and facilities are provided for you by the Parish. You stay overnight at the Parish. The weekend begins on Saturday morning at 8:00am and ends around 4:00pm on Sunday afternoon.

For additional information please call the Parish Office: (847) 516-AMEN (2636).
