The Funeral Luncheon Ministry offers Christ's love through the simple gift of hospitality. Following a funeral or memorial Mass, our volunteers provide a welcoming meal and a caring presence for family and friends as they gather to remember and celebrate the life of their loved one.
This ministry is a beautiful way to accompany those who are grieving. Volunteers help prepare and serve meals, set up and decorate the gathering space, welcome guests, assist with cleanup, or provide desserts and other food items. Every act of service—whether large or small—is a tangible expression of the compassion and comfort of our parish community.
There are many ways to serve, and volunteers may participate as their schedules allow. Whether you enjoy cooking, baking, serving, or simply offering a kind smile and helping hand, your gifts can make a meaningful difference during a family's time of loss.
By serving in the Funeral Luncheon Ministry, you help extend the care of the Church beyond the funeral liturgy, reminding grieving families that they are not alone and that the love of Christ continues to surround them through our parish community.
