Frequently Asked Questions

Are children welcome at Mass?

We LOVE kids! Children are absolutely welcome at Mass. We encourage their full participation, so please bring them! Please note, we do not have a “cry room”, but if you feel it necessary to remove your child from the Sanctuary during Mass, there are speakers in the Narthex & Gathering Space which will allow you to continue to hear Mass.

Can I access the Church during the day to pray?

You are more than welcome to come pray in the Church during the day. To do so, please come to the Parish Center to check out a key that will give you access to the Church. When you are done praying, return the key to the Parish Center.

Do I have to register before I come to Mass?

Registration is not required to attend Mass. If you give regularly, we do encourage you to register so we can send you envelopes and a record of giving for tax purposes!

I haven't been to church in a long time. Is that okay?

Welcome Home! We are so glad you are joining us! Please introduce yourself to the presider after Mass so we can give you a proper welcome! Gentle reminder - your need to be properly prepared to receive Christ in the Most Blessed Sacrament at Communion. If you are attending Mass for the first time in a long time without having gone to Reconciliation, please come forward for a blessing, crossing your arms over your chest. Please see our Sacrament of Reconciliation schedule here in order to avail yourself of the sacraments going forward! If you would like to meet with a priest please call the Parish Center at 847-516-2636 and speak with Laura, ext. 319, who will schedule you an appointment!

Where are the bathrooms?

The bathrooms are located in the Gathering Space, on the right side as you enter the space.
