St. Vincent de Paul Friends of the Poor Walk

Walk for the Poor — Saturday, October 3 at 8:30 AM

Join us as we walk together in support of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and their mission to serve our neighbors in need.

Volunteers from Saints Peter & Paul SVdP Conference make many home visits to bring spiritual support, financial help, and human caring to those who face problems, such as utility shutoff, rent & evictions, food insecurity, malfunctioning appliances, and financial inability to obtain medical care or prescription medicine.

Last year the volunteers from Saints Peter & Paul made close to 200 in-person visits and helped hundreds of our neighbors in need. In addition, we provided holiday meals and other in-kind assistance to over 300 people.

You can make a difference by participating in the walk, making a donation, or doing both! Every step and every gift helps provide practical assistance and hope to individuals and families facing difficult times.

Gather your family and friends and come be part of this meaningful morning of faith, fellowship, and service. Together, we can put our faith into action and help bring Christ’s love to those in our community who need it most. Sign-up to walk after Masses or register the morning of October 3rd!
